What is a good acne treatment, that is not pro active?

I need something that I can buy at any drugstore. Proc-active doesn%26#039;t work for me so I need to find something that will actually work. does anyone have any suggestions?|||clear.now worked for me. it%26#039;s a combination of salicylic acid and sodium chlorite, not benzoyl peroxide so it%26#039;s very gentle on your skin and won%26#039;t dry your face out.

Make sure you can get the highest presentage of salicylic acid in it because not only does it heal acne, but gets rid of scars. then take a %26quot;one a day multivitamin%26quot; (all day energy one) which hold most of the daily nutrition for your skin. A vitamin c and vitamin e. They help clearing and keeping clear your skin. Also drink lotts of water. This is all finnaly actually helping me. =D good luck.|||hmmm, really the you don%26#039;t need a good acne treatment to get rid of it.

it is good to have a good cleanser (clerasil has an acne kit for twenty dollars at drugstores) but you also have to do things like make sure that you take off your make up(if your a girl, or a guy. i don%26#039;t judge.), change your pillow cases(think about face gunk? gross, right?) and make sure to drink lots of water.

sometimes if you are very pale(like myself) and you think that maybe its time you get your tan on, it will help.

tanning dries out your skin, and there is little to no oils left for the gross pimples to be born off of.|||OMG PLEAAAASE DO ***NOT*** tan to fix your acne!!!!!!!!!

tanning may dry out your skin and make the acne less noticeable BUT it will also cause premature aging and hyperpigmenation (darkening of the skin in areas that have pimples) both of which are not reversible!!!!

acne is caused for a couple of reasons and most are manageable...

if it%26#039;s hormones you have to see a Doctor otherwise...

the best ance system i know of is Bioelements line... it works because kills the bacteria in the skin that cause inflammation and redness but also moisturizes so that dead skin cells won%26#039;t clog pores.

More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/|||Neutrogena or AcneFree. I don%26#039;t know if it would work for your skin type though.|||clean and clear advantage, it works better then pro-active but u should buy the whole kit
