Are there any homemade over-night creams that I can try for acne treatment?

Does anyone have a recipe that isn%26#039;t too abstract for a mask or facial cream to leave on over-night that will help with my acne and/or complexion? I try and wash my face every night, but I want to do something more! All answers are appreciated!|||lemon juice with pinch of salt and few drops of honey|||Ok this might sound kinda strange, but toothpaste (crest, aim, colgate ect.) will work good to take down the redness and puffiness of a zit or blemish...I don%26#039;t know why it works, but it does....I was like WHAT this can%26#039;t work! but I tried it and it DOES work! I really hope this helps! =)|||This isn%26#039;t over night, but I hope it helps!

3 tbsp honey

8 strawberries OR 1/2 an apple

2 tbsp oatmeal

Mash the strawberries or grate the apple. Add the honey and oatmeal. Apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

Do NOT use this more than once a week!!|||raw unpasteurized apple cider vinegar

to open the pores and loosen dirt and grease from your face turn off the heat from a pan of distilled water, add 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar to a quart of the hot water. drape a towel over the pan and your head to steam clean your pores. take a cotton ball, dip in vinegar and pat over skin to remove loosened dirt. repeat 2 more times. then spray or dab on chilled vinegar and equal part of distilled water to close your pores and tone your skin. do twice weekly, also can use the chilled vinegar water as a toner 2 times daily.

it is amazing ....

raw unpasteurized apple cider vinegar

use this apple cider vinegar for rejuvenating results. first, wash the skin in warm water, no soap. next, apply a wrung out hot water soaked cloth to the face for 3 minutes, then remove. soak thin cloth in warm vinegar water 2 tbsp per cup of water and again apply to face. cover the vinegar soaked cloth with a towel wrung out in hot water, relax and lie down for 10 minutes or more, if possible with feet elevated above head. remove both cloths and gently rub skin upwards with towel or small loofah face pad. this rub removes the hundreds of dry skin scales. you can repeat this weekly or as needed. your skin will look youthful and beautiful..

i also drink the vinegar, 1-2 tablespoons in water with honey in the morning..and i use the vinegar water as a toner 2 times daily..

What is the best acne treatment you have used?

I realy want to get rid of the acne and it would really help me, thanks.|||Hiya. I%26#039;ve used a ton of different acne products and the products I%26#039;ve found that work really well include: St.Ives- face wash/scrub and the Neutrogena 3 in 1 Kit. However, For the past 2 months I%26#039;ve been using Proactiv Solution. At first I thought Proactiv was just a bunch of hype but now I see that it really work. So I would recommend ordering Proactiv Solution-- you can try the 1 month kit for 20 dollars. It is expensive but I think it%26#039;s worth it. If not, stick to the Neutrogena 3 in 1 kit which does work very well.

Aside from the acne treatments, you need to monitor your eating/sleeping habits. Make sure you try to stay away from greasy foods and try to drink lots of water. Stay stress free and get enough rest! Good Luck!|||I%26#039;ve tried a lot of prescription pills from my dermo.

I had clear skin until fall of 2007, and had to be put back on accutane and my skin is flawless. I love it.

I suggest using this as a last resort, and researching it before hand.|||Everyones skin is different. There is no telling what will be right for your skin. But here is my regime.

I wash my face with Neutrogena Oil free Acne Wash.

Three days a week, I do an Aspirin mask.

Here is how you make it: Four tablets of uncoated aspirin, honey, and a few drops of water. Mix together, the mixture should be grainy. Apply to face, allow to dry for fifteen minutes. After, use the grains to exfoliate your skin with warm water. Pat dry with a towel. Your skin should be glowing, and the acne less red.

Follow with Burt%26#039;s Bee Lettuce toner.

Then I use Clean and Clear Oxygenating moisutizer. It%26#039;s ultra light and ungreasy. Probably great since acne is started by oil.

For makeup, you can use Neutrogena skin clearing foundations. It has sycalic acid which is an acne fighter.

-This can be drying, so make sure to constantly moisturize.

I hope this works for you! All of these products are cheap, so they won%26#039;t burden your pockets. lol~|||Neutrogena Rapid Clear Pads Work Miracles For Quick fixes.

However, To Prevent Them From Coming , I Try to Drink The Recommended 8 Cups Of Water A Day.

If you really want to cure your acne there are two recommended methods that should combined together (if you can afford it) for best results.

Firstly and more important in my opinion, you must learn how you should fix the internal problem that%26#039;s causing your acne, not just masking the symptoms or getting relief.

There are only few good Ebooks and acne cure programs that can teach you exactly how to cure your acne from the inside.

Where medicine has failed them the authors have done their own research and found a way to overcome acne. In their books they share their valuable knowledge with other acne sufferers. Anyhow, be very careful because many of them are pure crap with little value.

Check this article for honest and useful review about the top systems today that can help you a lot:

The second thing that you need to do is to get good acne skin product that will be suitable for your skin.

There are hundreds of acne skin care products available in the market in these days and it%26#039;s not easy to choose the product that will give you the best results.

When choosing your product make sure to check that you get at least 2 months full guarantee. Some of the big names in the industry are:

ClearPores, Acuzine, Acnezine, Proactiv, Vilante and some others.

Well good luck and best wishes.|||Even if your skin was once a total sport no matter what you subjected it to—harsh climates, ingredient-du-jour creams, even tanning beds—times have likely changed. Chances are, at some point you’ve suffered from redness, itching, flaking, and stinging.

Truth is, sensitivity—which affects 56% of us—increases with age. Skin becomes, on average, 10% drier each decade after the age of 20, according to Doris Day, MD, a dermatologist in New York City. And dryness and sensitivity are often intimately linked. “The cells that form your skin’s outermost layer work as a two-way barrier, keeping moisture in and the outside world out,” Dr. Day says.

The less moisture your skin retains, the weaker the cellular barrier and the more irritants that muscle their way in. It doesn’t help that, as we get older, we tend to add more—and more powerful—ingredients into our skin-care mix. Any one of these products may cause irritation, but used in concert, they’re all the more likely to do so.

I have personally used the 14 Day Acne Cure listed below, and it works like a charm. You just have to make sure that you stick to the program.

Good luck ;]|||Clean and Clear

Whats the best Body Acne Treatment out there?

I have tried pills also and cant get rid of the acne on my body.|||How to Cure Body Acne

Shower following a workout. This is the simplest way to cure body acne. Breakouts on the body usually occur from excessive sweat. Rinsing off after exercise will prevent the acne from occurring.

Wear loose and breathable fabrics. This will allow your skin to breathe and the perspiration will not build up under your clothes.

Use a home remedy to treat body acne. Create a topical oil that includes the blending of 2 tsp. olive oil, 1 tsp. calendula oil, 1 tsp. almond oil, 2 drops of tea tree oil, and a drop each of chamomile and lavender oil. Apply to the affected areas on a daily basis.

Take a daily supplement to get rid of body acne. Products such as AcnEase are designed specifically to cure body acne.

Purchase an acne treatment spray. These formulas come in a spray bottle and are easy to apply in hard to reach areas, such as the back. Nature%26#039;s Cure manufactures an acne spray that is effective and dermatologist approved.

Use a body wash with Salicylic Acid, like Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash or Scrub, in the shower daily.

Apply a spot treatment multiple times during the day containing Benzoyl Peroxide like Clean %26amp; Clear Persa-Gel 10. Many acne lotions only contain 2.5% of the active ingredient, while this one has 10%. Plus it is a gel that dries clear.

Drink 8-10 glasses of water per day. This will flush your system from all impurities and toxins

Consider taking flax oil on a regular basis. You need to keep your system clean.

If your body acne does not clear up after a home treatment, ask your dermatologist about a prescription.

Do not use more than one acne treatment at a time.

Blending the treatments may worsen the condition.

Do not use the acne spray on the face. It will cause irritation if sprayed into the eyes or mouth.|||Hi,

I used to have really bad acne right from my teenage years . It was pretty embarassing to go to college with my acne patched face and I was desperate to get rid of it somehow. I took plenty of efforts to keep my face clean all the time and also ate nutritious food and drank lots of water. None of it helped though. I then recently read an article about a lady who got rid of her acne completely using a particular acne product. I tried it and it worked really well. Within 4 weeks my acne was gone completely. Really good stuff. Just thought I would share this with everyone. You can read more about the lady’s article at the link below.

For a more natural remedy, here is some information on Aloe Vera:

The watery gel from Aloe Vera plant is a highly effective natural cure against Acne. The enzyme-rich gel has very soothing anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. It can also be taken internally and helps clean up and detox the digestive tract. This in turn can help clear up the skin.

Gel or juice of Aloe Vera is highly useful in fading of acne scars. You can grow Aloe Vera plant in your home and apply freshly taken pure Aloe Vera gel to your scar. Otherwise many branded cosmetic companies manufactures pure Aloe Vera gel, so you can choose the best cosmetic companies to get Aloe Vera gel.

Vitamin A is also a natural and effective Acne cure. Vitamin A promotes healthy skin.

Vitamin E also helps in countering Acne. It is a natural antioxidant and beneficial for the skin.

Tea Tree Oil is obtained from the Melaleuca alternifoliais tree from Australia. It is very effective against Acne as it contains bacteria-fighting substances called Terpenes. Acne is often caused by bacteria and the Terpenes either outright kill them or weaken them enough to be destroyed by protective antibodies. There are very little side effects from using Tea Tree Oil.

From my experience If you really want to treat your acne there are two recommended solutions that should combined together (if you can afford it) for best results.

Firstly and more important, you must learn how you should fix the internal problem that%26#039;s causing your acne, not just masking the symptoms or getting relief.

There are only few good Ebooks and acne cure programs that can teach you exactly how to treat your acne from the inside.

Where medicine has failed them the authors have done their own research and found a way to overcome acne. In their books they share their valuable knowledge with other acne sufferers. In any case, be very careful because many of them are pure crap with little value.

You can learn about one of the best guides that helped many people to treat their acne naturally in this helpful article:

The second thing that you need to do is to get good acne skin product that will be suitable for your skin.

There are hundreds of acne skin care products available in the market in these days and it%26#039;s not easy to choose the product that will give you the best results.

When choosing your product make sure to check that you get at least 2 months full guarantee. Some of the big names in the industry are:

ClearPores, Acuzine, Acnezine, Proactiv, Vilante and some others.

I personally used the Clearpores cleansing system and was very satisfied with the results. You can find information and special discount on the different Clearpores acne systems here:

I hope that these tips will help you to get rid of your acne, good luck!|||Shea Moisture%26#039;s African Black Soap is purifying, gentle, and really clears up skin. Plus, you can use it on both your face and body. You can find it at Target or online. http://www.sheamoisture.com/products/pro…

Another great soap for both your face and body is Dr. Bronner%26#039;s Hemp Peppermint Liquid Castile Soap. The formulation of this soap is beautiful; it keeps skin clear without being drying, and it literally makes your skin tingly-clean and fresh. You can find Dr. Bronner%26#039;s Magic Soaps at most health food stores or online. http://www.drbronner.com/DBMS/PEP.htm

A combination of these two products keeps my skin absolutely clear.

Oh, and donate your used toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shower gel, and soap)! I was thinking that you might want to check out Clean The World ( http://www.cleantheworld.org ) and perhaps send the remnants of your used toiletries to them via Central Care Mission. I%26#039;m a big fan of fun bath products, but any that don%26#039;t suit my fancy, or the last bits of the soap bars, get sent to them to help prevent disease and death in Third World countries.

I also use their 7-day scrub to reduce blackheads and make my skin smoother. A nutrient-rich, balanced daily diet is key to building and maintaining healthy skin. A diet rich in foods containing beta-carotene, Vitamin C, and vitamin B6 is vital for a clear, glowing complexion. In general, a daily diet that provides 5 or more servings of fresh vegetables and fruits (including at least one citrus) will provide healthy amounts of skin-improving vitamins. Flaxseed oil and other foods high in omega-3 fatty acids should also be heartily consumed because of their role in skin health. Eating zinc-rich foods along with essential fatty acids may be beneficial. Liver-strengthening nutrients are recommended to improve acne and include Protein from plant sources, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. Because acne seems to be associated with Western diets, many experts advise acne sufferers to consume a diet high in fiber and low in Fat and refined carbohydrates.

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

What is the most effective acne treatment for oily skin?

I have very oily skin. I%26#039;ve used proactive but it seems to make my skin more oily than it is. I%26#039;ve also use origins but that did not help at all. Right now, I%26#039;m using Indian clay and I haven%26#039;t noticed muh diffeence. so, can you please suggest any acne treatments that can be effective for oily skin!?!?!?|||Proactiv!!

I know buying proactiv can be a bit rough .. because you have to order and top of it ... it can be expensive. But I have tried every other over the counter brand spending thousands of dollars and as soon as I started using proactiv they went away. I used it for like 3 years and it has left my skin very clean. I don%26#039;t use it anymore .... I do get the occasional break out once a month or so ... but they go away fast because I have also changed my diet together with proactive usage.

So my recommendation is ... proactiv for like a year to get your skin balanced ... and at the same time change to a diet containing 1 - 1.5 liters of water, multivitamins, 3-4 servings of vegetables and fruits and very little fatty food. Keep track of your food and try and stay away from fatty stuff most of the time. It will do wonders. After your skin is cleared ... then use neutrogena normal face cleanser .. and now I use any cream I want on my face without having any clogged spores or anything ...

It%26#039;s just that if your skin is prone to breakouts ... its best to get it in balance with a good diet and proactiv ... then you can do what ever you want. My skin has never looked good those days when i was using proactiv.

Caution ... do not use anything else when using proactiv. If you do it will dry your skin more and cause more acne. This is why some people complain about proactiv .... they use other products with it. Just use proactiv for two weeks and you will see a HUGE difference.|||I Used This Clean And Clear Stuff And It Was Only Like $3.00 And It Worked Really Good. It Lasted A Long Time Too. Proactive Made My Acne Worse:( So I Hope This Works. Try Exfoliating Gloves Too. And The St. Ives Apricot Scrub [I Think That%26#039;s The Name] Works Too.

So I will take a survey, what acne products have worked for you?

Thanx!|||Hi

There are millions of acne skin care products available in the market right now.

Some of them are meant for only adults while others are for the teenagers. It is necessary to choose the right product you are in need of.

The products available in the market might be great solution for some people and some might not even suit them nor produce any positive outcome. You could really find some marvelous creams, lotions, moisturizers and facial scrubs that could help you in many ways by keeping your skin beautiful and young too.

But sometimes you might get confused to select and use the correct product for your skin.

Well as a fact, you should always remember to wipe off your pimples and acne related problems forever but have you ever thought that these make up items would surely produce good results?

If you really wants to be good looking and beautiful, then you should always choose an acne skin product. It not just keeps your skin free from the pimples and scrubs but it also generates your skin to look good, beautiful and as young as you really want to be. You can easily get the acne skin product from the nearby chemist or from online.

However, before trying out any acne skin product, you should try utilize the daily use home products. It is very important to wash your face twice a day. Wash it very firmly and gently. It should not squeeze your pimples and also cause any rashes on your skin.

Do not use hot water, because hot water generally causes rashes and some times irritates the skin and for some people it also causes burning. You should use antibacterial or even tea tree oil for your skin in order to keep them from infection and also from burning.

It is also necessary to keep your hairs neat and clean and well washed by shampoos. Some times dirt and other particles may get trapped along your hairs. People with long hair should always be very cautious about washing their hairs regularly.

Also recommended is to keep away your hair from your face in order to reduce the formation of pimples.

You should also keep on a healthy diet, healthy diet can help you a lot when trying to get rid of you acne.

I did all these things and also used acne skin care system that called clearpores. This system helped me to get rid of my acne after I tried other products that didn%26#039;t help me at all and in my opinion it%26#039;s one of the best and most affordable systems if you want to get rid of your acne and have beautiful skin again. They also give you 6 months full money back guarantee so there is no risk at all.

You can find more information and save money on their products in the website

I hope that these tips will be helpful for you|||My wife had it terrible, that is until she used ProActive. Not only did it stop the breakouts, just like the commercial says, but it conditioned her skin to be almost acne free. It works amazingly. Do a bit of research on who created it and who endorses it. They now sell proactive in machines at most malls. It is worth every penny and 30$ lasts 30-60 days depending on how sparingly you use it. It doesnt take much.|||Biore make up wipes.

Thats all I use xD I used to try all sorts of things and my acne was horrible but then I just started doing that.

Also, you should look at the makeup your wearing. Eye make up and lips stuff usually doesn%26#039;t matter; but be careful with your blush, and any liquid foundation as it clogs you pores and doesnt let them breath, all day.

For foundation or base you should get a powder, its easier for your face to breath.

:] GOOD LUCKKKKK|||Apply a cream with a high percentage of peroxide, at least 3 to maybe 6 percent. However, I think clean and clear is stronger so I%26#039;d try Neutorogena first and then go to clean and clear if it doesn%26#039;t work.

I myself, had mild acne a while back. But what really helps me wasn%26#039;t about the products. Here is my method:

-Wash pillow case every week!!!! We lay on our pillow cases just about as much as we stay awake. So eventually, the oils and bacteria on your face will transfer over to the pillow case making it a fuel to your acne problem.

-Have a seperate towel just for your face. And wash that everyweek.

- Keep your hands away from your face as much a possible

-Wash your face when you wake up, in the afternoon, and before you go to bed.

- There is a pimple zapper out there called ZENO...it kills developing pimples on contact.

-toothpaste works really well on stubborn pimples.

- as for dark spots, use Clinque spot treatment.

Dr Murads Acne Complex

http://acne-treatment-4-all.blogspot.com/2006/09/dr-murads-acne-complex.html|||Lot%26#039;s of water every day around 8 glasses a day and a good night sleep.|||proactive|||Proactiv does work really well, but if you have EVER had acne, you will never get rid of it completely. My mom is almost 50 and she still gets acne occasionally. Often, stress triggers the emergence of acne. Also, if I rest my head on my hands a lot, I get acne. There are many causes of %26#039;outbreaks,%26#039; even if you use Proactiv. But of all acne products, I would vote that Proactiv is the most effective...GOOD LUCK! :)|||ProActiv!!!!!!! ITS THE ONLY THING THAT EVER WORKED FOR MY BROTHER.|||OK lets be real, acne%26#039;s a b**** and it%26#039;s the worst thing to get over but its not impossible. The best thing out there for it right now is Acutane, but, it is not for everyone that%26#039;s why it is only obtained by a Dr%26#039;s prespription. Some people tend to be allergic to the medicine, for a few percentage it does not work for, but usually it does, for everyone, even though after you stop using it the acne comes back, like with every other medicine after the treatment is over. It is really harsh on your body though, for women they can%26#039;t take contraceptives or have kids due to some serious problems that can occur while taking it, other people experience horrible peeling and dryness.

Apart from all this, i used to have acne, apparently not bad enough for Acutane (according to my dermatologist) but it was still bad (at least i thought it was), so i was recommended this over the counter medicine called %26quot;Nature%26#039;s Cure%26quot;. They have two medicines, one formulated for men, and another for women, and among these they have the topical creams and face washes as well as pills that work from the inside out. I personally tried the cream and face wash. Since i started using it i have yet gotten another pimple, seriously, my face is progressing miraculously, alot of the blemishes are gone, almost all. Smooth skin, it does dry it a little bit but barely, everyone%26#039;s complimented on it. A few more weeks and my face will be completely clear. To help with this i also get facials done, everyonce in a while to help with the deep cleaning, which helps alot to remove stubborn clogs and blackheads and so forth.

I know not all of these over the counter medicines work for everyone, like myself that i%26#039;ve tried Proactive and Murad and all those things and i actually got my face worse due to them. But this one worked, see if you can find it in a neighborhood pharmacy or drugstore, or supermarket (which some of them also sell them), or online in their website.

About a diet, the main cause of acne is not your diet, eating chocolate or drinking too much soda, it%26#039;s an old wife%26#039;s tale, BUT a good diet will prevent excess oils in the skin which will clog pores and cause breakouts.

The main cause of acne are your body%26#039;s hormones, we can%26#039;t fix those with a change in diet. For me i go to the gym about 5 days a week, and excercise, this helps your metabolism break fatty acids that may affect your hormone production, as well as providing an overall well being for the body and get you nice and fit, a little blood to the old pump is sometimes the best remedy for current health problems as well as future undeveloped ones.

Stress is another factor that people a lot of the time don%26#039;t consider, it does affect your acne because too much stress will trigger hormone production in the body and well you know the rest. Try to take life easily, i know sometimes it%26#039;s hard but you gotta try, for my stress, excercise wipes it all out, and it usually does for a lot of people so think about it.

Well i hope this helps you and good luck with what ever you end up trying.|||I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It%26#039;s time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn鈥檛 use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured鈥f we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don鈥檛 want us to know.

There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.|||Acne remedies at home

What over the counter acne treatment/medication work for you/the best?

I first wash my face with the St. Ives apricot acne wash with microbeads. Do Not get the scrub becuase scrubs can damage skin and cause more acne! What is the best acne treatment for a teenager's face?

From experience? Ones that don%26#039;t do damage to your skin and are not healthy for it...|||I%26#039;m 14 years old, and I%26#039;ve struggled with my acne ever since 4th grade. I have tried every home remedy and OTC product known to man. I can tell you that everything I tried only made my acne worse. From my experiences, I have learned that less is more. I finally convinced my mom to take me to see a dermatologist, who prescribed me a cream called Duac. After using it for about a week, a noticed a great improvement in my skin. Everyone%26#039;s skin is different, so Duac may not necessarily be the right prescription for you. I would recommend rinsing you face with warm water in the morning (don%26#039;t scrub) and then applying some Duac (or any other prescription you chose to use) to the affected areas. Remember, less is more, so you only need a little cream to do the trick. Try to keep your hair out of your face and avoid touching your face or popping the zits, which will spread bacteria and make your acne worse. During the day, try drinking 8 glasses of water and stay away from fried, fatty foods. This will help clear your acne from the inside out. At nighttime, rinse your face again and apply some more Duac. I would also apply a night moisturizer on top of the Duac, since dry skin facilitates the spread of acne. Duac does bleach dyed fabric, so I would also purchase two or three white pillowcases and a white washcloth. Change your pillowcase every other night. Lastly, don%26#039;t stress out about it. Seriously. When I had terrible skin, I would notice that the more I worried about the pimples going away, the more that would appear the next day. It is actually proven that stress triggers acne. Just imagine yourself with the beautiful skin you%26#039;ve always wanted, and soon that dream will become a reality. At times I often felt that I would never to be able to achieve the clear skin I always wanted, but with the Duac, an easy regimen, and positive thinking, I now am super happy with my skin and have never felt better about my appearance. Hope I helped!|||The trips I took to the dermatologist cost me way more than this lol and the crap they gave me just made my acne worse and I have tried every other overt the counter acne cream/lotion/soap that never worked You should check out this website what sells acne cream , it got rid of mine in 10 days or money back

clean and clear works good for me. also i use this thing called nature cure and its acne pills u can get at ur local drugstore. u take one in the morning and one at night. it works really good for me!|||I really like Clearisil, it cleared up my pimples just overnight. It%26#039;s a little harsh, so you need a good moisturizer, but it really cleans up yout pores and soothes your pimples.|||Clearasil. It works great. Not only does it get rid of pimples, it prevents new ones from forming! It actually works too. (It keeps your face dry so you don%26#039;t get all oily and clog up your pores.) It%26#039;s clear once you smooth it on your face; you can wear it during the day for protection. It%26#039;s an overall great product. The only thing that%26#039;s wrong with it is that it has something in it that can bleach out colors on cloth. So, you can%26#039;t put it on before bed, because it will leave colorless spots on your pillow. Just being honest. It hasn%26#039;t harmed my skin at all, and it doesn%26#039;t have any warnings besides the fact that you shouldn%26#039;t be out in the sun excessively if you have it on - or you should wear sun screen.|||I use acnefree it%26#039;s worked the best|||Ive tried revitol acnezine for years and it really made the difference. http://www.revitolacnezinereviews.com|||Acnezie ( http://www.naturallabs.co.uk/1,acnezine.鈥?/a> )|||Biore Products Or Clearasil Kit.

Home remedy for acne serves as the best and natural way of heading your way towards achieving flawless skin.

Below are presented a couple of things you need to do as a part of acne pimples home remedy treatment:

Gently apply fresh limejuice on pimples and blackheads.

Dab the mixture made by combining 1 tsp fresh coriander powder and a pinch of turmeric powder on the pimples, while going to bed in the night and wash it off when you wake up the next morning.

Take a few fresh curry leaves and make a paste. Apply the paste on the acne-affected area and keep it overnight and wash it off with warm water the next morning.

Apply the paste made of nutmeg (Jaiphal) and raw milk on acne and wash it off after 20 minutes. Do it for about 10-12 days and see the magical effects.

What acne solution, like acne treatment do you reccomend?

Some examples are Proactiv, Clinique, and Avon. Do you know any others that you think work very well. And can you give me a lot of info about it like how long till you see result, what its called, how it works, etc. Thanks!!!|||First you have to sit back and figure out why you have acne. I know a quick fix is a real temptation but if you do it right you can get rid of the acne for ever. The face treatments you have mentioned all come with some degree of quick fix - they might clear up the immediate outbreak - but they also attack your skin and leave it dry and damaged or oily and shiny.

Acne is caused by an over production of male hormone in guys and girls and that causes an increase in production of sebum which is the white stuff in a pimple. That sebum blocks up the glands in the skin and infection sets in - acne outbreak. So take care of the sebum buildup and your acne goes away.

Eat green vegetables. Cut back on processed meat. Wash your face with cleansing gels and soaps. Don%26#039;t use the antibacterial stuff - it%26#039;s too harsh for your skin.

BP can be VERY drying. I personally like SA better. Almost all washes have it. They try finding a face lotion with it in it. Clean and clear has a good moisturizer with SA and it helps keep pimples at bay. Personally, I use Biore products (which you get over the counter. Their products range from $5-$10). They are harsh on pimples, but not on your face. I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Remember, it can take 1 month for products to fully begin working!

Personally, Proactive didn%26#039;t work for me. I have been using Biore products for over a year and I hardly ever break out! Occasionally I will get one or two, but nothing bad. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy! Salysic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying fo rme! Good luck|||Anything Neutrogena. They have a great selection of products to choose from for any acne needs and all are very effective and gentle on your skin.|||You have to attack acne where it starts, with your diet. For me, diet was the cause and solution. Topical medications fight the symptoms. Start by eliminating trans fats and eating more fruits and vegetables. Gather all materials beforehand -- see %26quot;Things You%26#039;ll Need%26quot; below. You might want to store them in a waterproof resealable bag, such as Ziploc. I%26#039;d recommend wearing either old clothes or a bathrobe over whatever you are wearing. There is a definite possibility this is going to spill. After you have found everything on you checklist, head to a large, flat, waterproof surface. This is probably your bathroom. Having this room be private is highly advised; you can%26#039;t just say, %26quot;Get out, I%26#039;m flattening a pimple,%26quot; can you?

Things You%26#039;ll Need

- 3 or more cotton balls

- Lukewarm tap water

- Cup to hold the water in

- Salt

The Method

1. Salt the water thoroughly -- much more than you think it needs.

2. Dip one cotton ball in the salt water.

3. Wait for 30 - 60 seconds.

4. Squeeze out excess water out until it is damp, but not dripping.

5. Place the damp cotton ball over your large, oh-my-goodness-I-cannot-go-to-... zit. If you have several of these grouped together, try to place the cotton ball over them all.

6. Glance at your watch/clock. Wait exactly three minutes.

7. Remove the cotton ball after the time is up. The zit seems to be nearly gone, but it is only the top that has dissolved. Your acne is still there.

8. Take the other two cotton balls and place them on either side of the despised pimple.

9. Slowly, move them closer together until the tiny bump is flattened. Congrats! You%26#039;ve just conquered that giant of a pimple -- forever!

10. Apply honey on the infected area %26amp; go to sleep!!

Tips

*Don%26#039;t forget the last 3 steps -- they are crucial.

*Be sure to follow these steps closely. Dipping a cottonball in fresh water as opposed to salt will not work, for instants.

* You might want to bring a book -- either waterproof or one that you do not care about being splattered in water. Those three minutes can get boring.

* This is your best bet for monster zits that simply sneak up on you. For long-term healthy skin, cleansing and toning is also important.

Warnings

* Please, PLEASE, do not assume this is permission to %26quot;pop%26quot; pimples. Doing so can cause major scarring. Please don%26#039;t pop them.

* If you stop after the top is dissolved, I must warn you: it WILL come back! Maybe not in the next five minutes, but during the course of an hour, it will come back!

You can even try applying original Head %26amp; Shoulder Shampoo to clear acne!!! I WORKS like a charm!! Read all about it here including people%26#039;s comment about it!

http://www.myhomeremedies.com/remedy.cgi鈥?/a>

If you feel new pimples erupting, ice it! Hold an ice cube over the area for about 5-10 minutes. It REALLY works!!!

For acne scars,

1. Lemon juice is natural bleach and helps in lightening the scars and blemishes of the skin.

2. Rosehip seed oil is also another home remedy which reduces acne scars. It is mostly used in the cosmetic products and used for acne scarring, facial scarring, surgical scars, sun damage, premature aging, burn marks etc. This oil should be massaged twice on the acne scars daily.

3. Application of Aloe Vera gel/juice to the fresh wounds prevents the formation of permanent scars.

4. One of the home remedy is that ice cubes can be rubbed on the acne scars for ten to fifteen minutes.

5. Vitamin E is considered best for the healthy glowing skin. Application of vitamin E oil or capsule to the scar will completely vanish the scar in few weeks.

6. The most effective remedy for the scars is application of honey several times a day. It will give a natural glow to the skin and will remove all scars.

If you have too many pimples/whiteheads/blackheads/ acne/acne scars/... I recommend you to try Carley%26#039;s Clear %26amp; Smooth!! It%26#039;s CHEAPER %26amp; BETTER than Proactive!! People are raving about this product!! Read their feedbacks/reviews!!

4. No artificial sugar

5. More vegetables in diet

6 More fruits, apples / watermelon / oranges / limes.

7. 15-20 glasses of water. Ask her to drink 500 ml of lukewarm water every morning upon rising on an empty stomach with one lemon squeezed in it. Do not eat or drink anything else for an hour after that.

8. Always take shower with tepid/ nearly cold water.

9. Keep hair off the face and do not sleep on side or on face.

10. Avoid harsh sun or midday sunlight.

Acne can be controlled and can be made to go almost completely with good diet but cannot be stopped from recurring.

12 years old is very young age to start such a healthy regimen which would give her long lasting results.|||There are basically two types of acne products that you can avail of. First, we have the ingestible ones, or the acne products which you could take in via the mouth. Second, we have the external or topical acne products which are applied to the outer layer of the skin.

Of the first group of acne products are pills like antibiotics. Antibiotics reinforce our antibodies, and lead to a better protection of our system against harmful bacteria that, when added with oil, would cause acne. Antibiotics, however, should be taken in moderation. Too much of the same would make our antibodies immune to their reinforcing effects.

Vitamins and supplements are also popular ingestible acne products. If you want a natural way of preventing acne breakout, then let your body do the work by merely supplementing it with these types of acne products. Vitamin A, vitamin C, and vitamin E are great for the skin. Protein would also help improve the rejuvenating properties of the same.

In the second group of acne products belong cleansing creams and liquids. Most of these contain salicylic acid and benzoyl perocide, both of which are very effective in treating acne. The problem with these ingredients, however, is that they can be too astringent for some people. They may get rid of excess oil, but they dry up the skin too much, resulting in other forms of skin disorders.

For other effective remedies for acne treatment, you can read abt them here: http://acne.best-health-remedy.com/|||I went to doctors %26#039;cause i had a bit of acne for like 4 years, since I was 13.
