I have some acne that i would like to due away with but i%26#039;m not sure if this product would work cause the pimple is like big and red but no signs of the head yet. I think its a good product but the benzoyl peroxide is the same as all the others out there. basically the other ingredients are good in proactive but the benzoyl peroxide is the same as all the others so you%26#039;re basically getting ripped off unless you like the other formulations. i bought extra of the sulfur face mask (the last step) sometimes i skipped steps and put that on asap it was so cool... failing everything else i didnt rinse the mask off and it made my face look more white and clear it was awesome!|||I%26#039;m sure it will work fine, nothing will be ingested in your body so you have nothing to worry about. Unless of course an unplanned allergic reaction. If you feel warmth or %26#039;burning%26#039; like an icy hot. That means it%26#039;s working.

When using an acne treatment regime for the first time that my dermatologist prescribed, how long do the break outs last for? I am almost 6 weeks into my treatment and I am breaking out. I still have all these lumps on my face when I blow my face that will probably raise in a week or two (im guessing). As some of you may already know, I have had a sty for the last few months now. What do you do when you can't put any makeup on your skin because of acne treatment?
I%26#039;m using an acne treatment that doesn%26#039;t allow for any skin makeup (i.e. foundation, blush, concealer, powder, shimmer). But sometimes my skin just needs that dab of makeup to make it look that much better... do you know of any tricks to beautiiful skin without the makeup... maybe? Clean and Clear works but it doesnt do wonders. try not to get stressed, only because stressing makes it worse and when you dont stress it clears up a bit. so try using Clean and Clear and not stressing at the same time. it should help clear your acne a bit.|||It is not possible to get rid of it in seven days unless you use a Zeno. A zeno only gets rid of certain types of acne. Neutrogena has a good acne product with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide.

I%26#039;m very interested in the new Skin Id line....proactive never did anything amazing for me. Not that I had really bad acne I just like to keep my skin clear like the rest of us. Then always put on an oil free lotion (preferably with sunscreen) You need the lotion to cover pores to keep them clean from dirt or makeup. I think the lotion is the most important part of the whole process. This is what protects your skin from becoming clogged with dirt and bacteria that cause acne.
3. If your face becomes real oily throughout the day try to ease up on the cleanser. You could be drying out your skin which will cause oil glands to produce even more oil... the dryness and oil combined causes the acne. Should I apply lotion or moisturizer after applying acne treatment?
I am currently using Aveeno%26#039;s Clear Complexion Cleansing Pads. Obviously, because it%26#039;s an anti-acne product, my skin is left dry after use. Should I apply anything else (like moisturizer or lotion, etc.) onto my face after this? I%26#039;m 35 and I still get spots/pimple clusters from time to time and even when they go, they leave reddish marks for ages and my skin looks blotchy.
I use clean and clear or neutrogena clear skin - both contain salicylic acid which prevents breakouts and gradually evens the skin tone out too.
Any female with spots I%26#039;d recommend trying dianette or yasmin contraceptive pills because if it%26#039;s hormonal, that can sort out the kind of hormonal pimples you might get monthly!
Also I%26#039;d recommend taking a 100% multi vitamin/mineral complex and Omega 369 oils every day because that ensures you%26#039;re getting the right nutrition and also, the omega oils improve blood flow.
Also...keep your hydration right by drinking plenty of water, avoiding caffeine and alcohol and too much salt!
Another suggestion is the scrub you can get called %26#039;resurface%26#039; or something like that - made by L%26#039;oreal. You only use it a couple of times a week (and use at night because it makes your face red!). It really works not just with the colouring but also the texture - smoothes it back out. It comes with it%26#039;s own moisturiser which I don%26#039;t use but I use the scrub at night a couple of times a week and put bio oil on which it supposed to help clear scarring and even skin tone.
And my final suggestion is %26#039;sheer cover%26#039; mineral foundation. You see it on infomercials a lot...tacky I know! But it really works. You can buy it on eBay too so it%26#039;s easy for you to get some to try it out. You use the tiniest amount but because it doesn%26#039;t settle into enlarged pores and it contains minerals that reflect light, it disguises any kind of %26#039;scarring%26#039; and also it stops you getting spots because it doesn%26#039;t block pores. The minerals in it reflect light a bit too which acts as a kind of concealer. It%26#039;s hard to explain but it%26#039;s fantastic. Just make sure not to use too much - and apply with a kabuki brush starting from the outside and working in so you don%26#039;t end up with an over made up nose!
I know people say make up%26#039;s a no no - but because this doesn%26#039;t block pores and has the added effect of stopping you touching your face too much, I think it%26#039;s good. You can wear it on its own too and as long as you apply it minimally, it covers but doesn%26#039;t look like you%26#039;ve got make up on.

PS - if you can get them, clean %26amp; clear do these blotting paper things - in the uk I find I have to order them in from Hong Kong or somewhere cos they stopped doing them here - but they%26#039;re good. And if your face gets really greasy, just blot with a tissue if you can%26#039;t find those. Some tissues are to fluffy so I tend to carry around a few sheets of kitchen roll for the purpose!!!

LI|||stay away from any cleanser that is a cream. that will only make it worse. clearasil or clean and clear. you want something with 2% salicylic acid to kill bacteria and break down oily build-up. benzol peroxide works with it too.
good luck.|||you can buy the normal face cream or you can buy noxema skin cream. normally, these creams help with the face situations like oil and things like that.|||how about clean and clear or proactive the clean and clear works really good! it helped me alot i dont even have acne any more you should try it :P|||Biore Works Very Well And It has 2% Salicylic Acid In it.
