Is it okay to put (Isopropyl Rubbing) Alcohol on your face for acne treatment?

I tried it twice already but i want to make sure its okay to do it.|||Yes, that%26#039;s okay. Put some on a cotton ball and use it as a face wash. You might find your skin starting to flake because the alcohol dries it out, though. A light moisturizer afterward can help. Witch hazel is good for a face wash, too.|||Its safe, however it will not help for acne treatment. Using pure rubbing alcohol will try out your skin something fierce. Your pores will then try to counter act this producing more oil. The oil will clog the pores, and walla---acne. Its a bad cycle to put your skin in. Not only will your face be flaky and dry, but acne too. If soap and water is not doing the trick try something from the store. Neutrogena is a good brand. Try the face wipes at first, they don%26#039;t tend to dry out the skin as bad as the washes. You can also use eucerin lotion if you need some moisture. Its safe your use on your face without adding extra oil.|||Drying out your face is not a good idea. It will make the situation worse. I have answered thousands of questions about acne and related topics on yahoo answers and decided to blog about it to save time. You will find a link to the blog post below.

Drying out your face may seem like it%26#039;s solving your problem but I assure you that it is not. If you keep your face moisturized, your pores will not get clogged therefore no more acne.|||Well, it depends on the type of acne you have. Alcohol will dry your skin which will cause your body to start producing more oil. This could lead to possibly even worse acne than before. You may want to consult a dermatologist before attempting this.|||NOOOO the alcohol will dry your face out causing your face to produce even more oil to help combat the drying force from the alcohol, use witch hazel instead|||yes, my twin 16 year old boys swear by it, they use the alcohol pads, it works for them
