Whats the strongest nonperscription acne treatment that you can get at a store?

You have to be able to get it at a store without a doctors perscription|||I%26#039;d use Cetaphil. Don%26#039;t use Noxema. In some cases Noxema has made acne worse. STRONGNESS is not exactly the best quality to look for. You need to look for what%26#039;s best for your type of acne/skin. Also, using too many skin cleansers can rob you skin of too many oils, so it over-produces (to replace what it lost) and then you have WAAY more oil on your face, so you end up hurting yourself. Also, don%26#039;t use loofas or anything like that, that%26#039;ll only aggrivate your face and lead to scarring (baaad!). Also, don%26#039;t wash too often. Once in the morning and once at night, its the same thing with using to many cleansers- it%26#039;ll rob your skin of too much oil. Also, you may want t see a dermatologist. I had minimal acne, so I strted using Noxema (bad idea!) It continued, so I went to go see my doctor. He gave me an oral face over the counter perscription. I used it for two years while my acne got steadliy worse. I finally went tp go see a derm. He was tottaly understaing and helped me out quickly, getting me started on both an over-th-counter pill and oral face stuff. He suggested Cetaphil to me. I am now (a month later) prodly acne-free! Hope I helped =D|||You see, different acne medications do different things. You%26#039;ll find that you get different results from different treatments based on the cause of your acne. The two common acne medications that you will find in over the counter products are benzoyl peroxide and saliciylic acid.

Benzoyl peroxide works by helping to introduce oxygen into your skin which kills p. acne bacteria, a bacteria clinically shown to cause acne. This will work for you if the cause of your acne is bacterial, and it also dries some sebum which may also help you. The highest strength of benzoyl peroxide that you can get over the counter is 10%. A good product with this strength is Clean and Clear Persa Gel, or Clearasil Ultra.

Salicylic acid works by chemically exfoliating your skin. Pimples are caused by pores blocked by sebum (oil) mixed with dead skin cells. By normalizing the shedding of skin, you help to prevent these blockages. Salicylic acid will also help dry up oil. It can be found in a wide range of products and the highest concentration you can get over the counter is 2%. A good product with salicylic acid is Neutrogena Oil-free Acne Wash.|||Acne products can be really hard to choose be ause everyones skin type is different, so the best product for someone else could be the worst for you. To have clear skin, you have to keep up a daily routine. Try this: wash your face every night before you go to bed to remove all the Dirt and oil from your Long day, then wipe alcohol(if you%26#039;re not alergic) gently Across your face with a cotton ball (but don%26#039;t rub it in.that will irritate the skin). And every night make sure you switch your pillow cases, or flip your pillow so that you don%26#039;t lay on the same side you slept on the night before, that way your face doesn%26#039;t come on contact with oil or dirt that was on your pillow from your face or hair. If you keep this up, you will Notice a change in your face and confidence. Good luck!|||My friends have had luck with Proactiv. I use the Clinique. I would suggest either of those.

And keep in mind that no matter what you try, make sure to be consistent with it (use it morning and night religiously) for 2 weeks to a month before you decide it%26#039;s not working. Most products are not a miracle overnight cure.|||for acne, fair complexion, tanning, sunburn, marks,
