I break out every so often and I want to know what the best kind is.|||PanOxyl is a gel that comes in tubes of 40g it is an excellent treatment for acne. It should be applied once daily to affected areas. It dries up acne spots overnight causing them to disappear by the morning. Do not apply too much because too much can make your skin dry.
It is a mixture of aqueous gel and Benzoyl Peroxide. You can get it in different strengths depending on how severe the acne is.
2.5 % Benzoyl would be ideal for occasional hormonal spots. 5% is good for a regular case of acne and 10% for a severe case of acne.
Use it before you go to sleep at night and after you have washed your face for best results.
