What is a very helpful acne treatment on my back?

im using mario badescues stuff for my face but i still have acne on my back and im going to the grad. dance really soon(wearing dress and cn see the back). dont know what to do??|||Pro active doesnt really do the job for acne, its more for %26quot;a few pimples%26quot;

Try and find a tea tree oil and munka honey body wash, its very good stuff!

Or any natural body wash,

You could also do the whole tooth paste thing for a few mins then wash off, that brings down redness in a hurry|||let your shower water run on your back for 15 minutes. The water will sink deep into the pores and clear out the dirt/debris/oils. After you can cleanse your back with some sort of acne wash, and let it sit for a couple minutes -- i recommend neutrogena acne stress control for a drugstore brand.

i get some small back break outs, but usually the water will get rid of it.|||My doctor suggested this and it worked for me. Buy a shower brush see this example of one here - http://www.thebodyshop.com/images/access鈥?/a>

and get a body wash that fights acne, here is an example of a good one here - http://www.alphamom.com/site/smackdown/i鈥?/a>

and put it on the brush and scrub your back gently twice a week.|||there is some stuff called Pro Active. i think it is around 60 bucks but is is really good. I%26#039;m not sure if it is available over seas but you could give it a go

What is the overall BEST acne treatment product that actually WORKS?

Don%26#039;t say Proactiv!|||This is what I do:

Mix baking soda and witch hazel/or water together until it comes to a good constancy, and then spread on your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. these two things are very inexpensive and it%26#039;s very easy to do since there is only two ingredients.

Toothpaste is good for drying out your pimple (for some people). Put only a little bit before you go to sleep. Some people use this as a mask but DON鈥楾 EVER DO THIS! It can change your skin tone and make your face discolored.

Aloe vera helps scars lighten and less noticeable (lemon, cocoa butter, witch hazel, and tea tree oil do the same thing). Use the gel (of the aloe plant) or the real thing.

Try to buy a cleanser that works for you, and when you wash your face, open your pores with hot water (not too hot, or it will dry out your skin) and massage it gently into your skin. Then, use cold water at the end to close you pores. The smaller your pores are, the less likely you%26#039;re prone to pimples. Clearasil, Neutrogena, and Clean and Clear are good choices to start if you want a cleanser. Don%26#039;t use body soaps because they dry out your skin. Don%26#039;t scrub too hard either, because it can irritate your skin.

An egg yoke can be used to make you pores smaller. I used this when I had pimples. Just take the egg yolk (the yellow part) and leave it on your face for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with warm water and then splash your face with cold water.

Keep your hair out of your face because the oils in your hair could go into your pores. Change you sheets because they%26#039;re are trapped with dirt, oils, etc.

Zinc (type of vitamin) is the one of the best things you can use to get rid of pimples. You can buy these almost about any large store (such as Wal-Mart or Shaws.) Have one tablet per day and try to cut down the junk food and replace it with vegetables and fruits. Drink lots of water and don%26#039;t pop you acne. Popping acne can lead to acne scars.

If you have sensitive skin, don%26#039;t use make up. Some of the things in make up can clog your pores and cause pimples. Keep your hands out of your face as much as you can because you hands a full of bacteria and oils.|||well i can%26#039;t tell you what works the best and for sure but all i can tell you is that i had very bad acne and nothing helped, not even creams from the doctor but i now have found something that works, at least for me! so what i do is use neutrogena make up remover face wipes to take off all my makeup, then i use st ives apricot cleanser blemish control and then neutrogena pore refining toner and finish with aveeno daily moisturizer that reduces redness. now at first i thought it was gonna be crazy to use all these different lines of products but my face has never been clearer and better feeling and looking. its amazing. especially cuz ive tried everything!!! i know getting rid of acne is hard so good luck!|||clean and clear|||Clean-N-Clear acne spot treatment works really well for me. Also Cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer works really well (and is gentle on sensitive skin).|||Clean %26amp; Clear product line.|||There is a product called Acne Free that u can get a CVS it somes in an orange package. It%26#039;s a 4 step package. It really works I have been using it for a while and havent broken out since.|||cetaphil and biore

Has anyone ever used baking soda as an acne treatment?

I%26#039;ve read/researched this on the internet and it sounds like a cheap and simple treatment. Does it work? Mixing baking soda with water to form a paste and applying it to acne prone areas?|||Clear your acne, and get beautiful skin.

For clear glowing skin, a little home remedy does wonders for my complexion, as it should with yours too.

Steam your face for 20 minutes every night after washing it, then every other night after steaming your face, massage a half

teaspoon castor oil over face. Leave it on at night while you sleep and wash off immediately upon waking. Steam face for twenty more minutes in the morning after washing. When you finish steaming your face splash your face with cool water and dry it.

If your skin starts to show any signs of a pimple forming. Take one night off from steaming and applying castor oil and apply

Benzoyl Peroxide over face.

Take the next night off also from the steaming, castor oil, and benzoyl peroxide. Continue facial regimen with steaming and

castor oil the following night.

This will moisturize your face at the same time it will help clear up acne and pimples. But only if you work at

it consistently.|||If you want to try using baking soda as an acne treatment, my recommendation is to use one teaspoon of it in your cleanser at night to exfoliate your skin.

|||It can help I guess it just depends on your skin. I tried it for blackheads and it just made my skin feel really irritated.|||my friends have said they have tried it and it works. They also said crushing up aspirin and mixing it with water will but i%26#039;ve never tried it

Whats the best skincare clinic in Manila for acne treatment?

Ive tried Dermclinic but its pricey like four sessions of acne treatment costs me P8,000 and the creams and stuff is around P12,500 but its effective. I heard Forever Flawless is way cheaper, anyone who has tried there? Or can ananyonehere suggest a good skin care center.

*Calayan and Belo is definitely not on my list!|||Let%26#039;s face it is better..

they have an outlet in all SM Malls|||Acne - Acne Scars and Their Treatment

The unsightly appearance of acne lesions or pimples isn%26#039;t the only potential problem with the disease, unfortunately. In some cases, it%26#039;s possible for acne to leave permanent scars.

Some conditions may appear to be scars that are not. Macules and other bumps can occur even after acne is treated. Redness may persist for up to a year. But these aren%26#039;t true scars. They%26#039;re not permanent.

True scars are a permanent change to skin tissue produced by the healing process itself, chiefly creating fibrous tissue. As white blood cells attack bacteria they can produce changes in underlying skin cells in the surrounding area. This is one way scars become permanent.

They may also not be limited to areas under the surface.

So-called icepick scars are small pinholes that form in the surface of the skin. They look as if the skin has been poked with an icepick, hence the name. They%26#039;re typically too deep to be treated with simple dermabrasion or even laser resurfacing.

Boxcar scars are similar, except they tend to be flatter on the bottom, rather than narrowing to a point like icepick scars. Since they%26#039;re often shallower they can sometimes be treated with resurfacing techniques.

Keloid scars are firm and grow beyond the site of the injury. They%26#039;re characterized by an excess production of collagen. They often result in a shiny pink or red scar.

Prevention is the best option, of course. But when that%26#039;s not possible, there are a number of standard treatments.|||Instead of going to %26quot;skincare%26quot; clinics which will remove the money from your wallet faster than your acne, just regularly wash your face (morning and before sleeping at night) using a facial wash or soap with salicylic acid. Good recommendations are: Clearasil facial wash and Garnier PureA facial wash.

After washing, use a facial moisturizer such as Myra E or Celeteque after washing. Then apply Panoxyl 5% on the pimples. All of these products are available in most (Philippines) local department stores and drug stores (Mercury Drug, Watsons).

Note: The %26quot;Ponds%26quot; brand of products, including its anti-acne and anti-bacterial wash do not work very well.|||i really don%26#039;t go for commercialized ones, they are very costly.

i like let%26#039;s face it but then it seems to be good only for facial cleaning.

try this beauty shop in robinson%26#039;s galleria,3f. near the tattoo shop. i forgot the name.

Should i continue using proactiv or change to different kind of acne treatment products?

i had been using proactive for a month now!! and i havent seen any results yet.. my face got worse than before.. my face got really dry. should i continue using proactiv?|||I will tell you my experience with Proactive: Proactive, for me at least, is very sensitive. It seems that if you put too much on, your skin will not get results and it may even worsen. You have too put the perfect amount on. For the Step 1 lotion you should use about a nickel size amount. For Step 2, about a dime. And Step 3 should be no more than a pea. After I learned this, I realized I had been using twice the amount I should have, and I saw immediate results. Remember, never put too much on. Its really great and works well when you put the perfect amount on. Hope that helps!|||Like with any acne treatment, you have to be patient. I know Proactive claims to get rid of acne within a couple weeks, but that%26#039;s just not the case for everyone.

I%26#039;ve been using Proactive for over a year now, and it took three months before I started seeing results and another three before I felt comfortable enough to go out without make-up. And believe me, I almost gave up several times, but I stuck with it, and now I can%26#039;t be happier.

I would suggest that you continue with it for a couple more weeks and use a moisturizer since it does dry out the skin. If you still haven%26#039;t seen results, or your acne gets worse, then you might want to stop use and either try another product or go see a dermatologist.|||I wouldn%26#039;t continue using it if its not working.

I was on proactiv for quite a while and all of a sudden, it stopped working. I read somewhere to wash with a natural bar soap (such as Dr. Bronners) or any mild soap. Then, make a paste of baking soda and some water. Rub this on your face gently in the am and pm, and rinse off.

It worked for me, and even in a few days my skin was much smoother, and soon the pimples starting going away (for good)!|||someone else tonight said proactive made thier skin worse....

seriously, the best remedy for acne is a simple yet cheap solution.... everynight ise peroxide, soak a cotton ball with it and go over clean skin (washed with soap) and dont drink alot of soda, and more water... youll thank me for it : )|||What you need to understand Proactiv will not cure acne only reduce the problem, it can like others cause peeling, irritation and make the skin feel dry. The question is are you drinking plenty of water and maintaining a healthy well balanced diet?

Can egg whites be used ase an acne treatment?

Someone told me that they can but I don%26#039;t want to irritate my acne if I use it.|||yes it can, my skin is pretty sensitive w/ everything but it doesnt seem to irritate me
