What is the best acne treatment you can get at the drugstore?

Clean%26amp;Clear can be bought over-the-counter and they really work. They did a great job for me, so worth having a look.|||avenno is the olny thing thats working for me and ive tryed everything even proactive and skin id|||Acne Free. I had really bad acne from the age of 12 to 23, and tried everything-- Accutane, minocycline, tricycline, every drugstore brand, Proactiv, etc. I mean everything. People at the stores I went to would recommend things to me. It was horrible. Then my friend who had had bad acne actually recommended Acne Free to me because it was the only thing that worked for him too.

My routine (usually once a day, sometimes twice):

1. Wash face with Purpose to remove makeup.

2. Wash face with Acne Free wash.

3. Dry face, wait 5-10 min until skin is completely dry.

4. Apply Acne Free toner.

5. Wait 5-10 minutes until toner is completely dry.

6. Apply Acne Free repair lotion, wait 5-10 min to apply makeup.

That%26#039;s it. Now, I%26#039;ve had little to no acne for 3 years, for the first time since I was 12. My face doesn%26#039;t get dry, though usually I just wash it once a day. Hope this works for you.|||there is a thing called panoxyl...this worked for my friend.

What is the best product for acne treatment?

i have some acne and need like a scrup or anything to treat it... something a little less pricy would be favorable :)|||Proactive! :) Good Lucky!

-D0RKKx3|||what i use is Clinique. It REALLY helps.

i mean ive never had acne, or any pimples, blackheads, or whiteheads EVER ! it may be because of healthy skin, but i use it anyways to keep my skin clean and radiant.

there are 5 levels 1 is for dry skin. 2 (what i use) is for dry skin, %26amp; oily skin. i dont use it cause i have any of those. its just almost in the middle to balance it out. 3 is for oily skin, dry skin, and acne, 4 is for almost everything, and 5 id for everything !

ProActive does not really work, neither does Clearisil, or whatever.

my friends all used that and say it doesnt work. i told my friend i use clinique and it worked in just about a few days ! i use the clinique facial lotion, and neutrogena lotion for day %26amp; night. but clinique works its best !|||neutrogena! it works a ton! use the face scub in the shower, you can get some toner to clean your face after you wash it before you go to bed and when you wake up in the morning or after you are all sweaty :) get the onspot pimple cream. you really shouldn%26#039;t get any pimples after a week or so (well i didn%26#039;t) after starting to use this product, but sometimes when i stress out i break out a little. good luck:)|||this clean and clear deep action cream cleanser. oil free.

says it cleans deep down to the pores

and its cool and refreshing tingle.

i use it every night before i go to bed. just throw some water on your face. put some cream in your hand and rub it on. throw some water on to wash it off. take a towel and pat your face. it leaves you feeling fresh, and airy. its awesome! you can see differences in very little amount of time.|||I have found that the best over the counter lotion is oxy 10.A friend of mine has a friend that is a dermatolofist. She said the best thing without a prescription is oxy10.|||I used to have acne, but I went on accutane for a couple of months, and it got rid of it. Will new birth control effect my acne treatment?

For about a year I was using benzaclin and retin-a-micro for acne on my face. My derm is expensive so I try to only see her when I need to. I recently started taking a birth control pill and am worried about my acne. Should I go visit her or is it nothing to be nervous about. I do notice that my acne has flared up but will that go away after the three month %26quot;evil%26quot; test period for new birth control pills?

Thanks for any advice and help!|||You should ask the place where you recieved the birth control. They should know if you will have any side affects with taking the two at the same time.

I would think it would help your acne because of the hormones in the birth control are said to sometimes help treat the acne.

good luck!

Does the Zeno Acne Treatment System work?

I%26#039;m 13 and i have tons of zits! I%26#039;ve tries tons of different face washes that claim to work, but none do! Or, they work for about a week and then i end up getting even worse breakouts!

So, I%26#039;ve seen the Zeno Acne Treatment system at several stores, and I was wondering if I should bother spending that kind of money on this? Or, is it just like every other acne treatment?|||I%26#039;ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it%26#039;s at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I%26#039;m 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I%26#039;ve ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It%26#039;s unique cause of it%26#039;s herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn%26#039;t work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes.

How does the neutrogena stress control acne treatment work?

because, if stress causes you acne, you are still going to stress, but how is neurtogena going to prevent the acne? i don%26#039;t understand...|||They are saying that the acne causes you stress, which then causes more acne. By reducing your acne they are saying they will take away some of your stress, which will in turn reduce acne.

The active ingredient is 2% salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is an exfoliant and can actually penetrate the sebum your skin produces to exfoliate inside the pores. However it can only do this if it is in an acid base with a pH of between 3 and 4. Many salicylic acid products are not formulated with an acid base and this renders the salicylic acid defunct for the purpose it was included in the product. Neutrogena do not give the pH of Stress Control.

Also, salicylic acid can take months to reach maximum effectiveness and is very mild compared to things like Tazorac, which would do a better job of unplugging blockages in much less time.|||deff

What is the best all natural acne treatment tht isn't expensive?

Its the number one rated acne treatment of 2008. ( Proactiv was number four, so you know this stuff is good lol) I just started using it and its working great for me. How do acne treatment creams and oils work? ?

I use them and I%26#039;m just wondering how do they work anyways? :] I think it%26#039;s interesting|||depends on what chemicals are involved. The two most common active ingrediants in acne treatments are either Benzoyl Peroxide or Salacylic Acid. when looking for a good cleanser, exfoliator, ect., look for one of those ingrediants. (they will never be together in the same product).

Benzoyl Peroxide kills bacteria that clogs your pores. It works slowly to fight through your acne and get to the source. Sometimes, however, it will be fighting your pore clogging bacteria, but your pimples will still look red and inflamed.

Salacylic Acid is much different. It takes relief to the surface to calm down redness, and inflammation as its first and primary goal. Next, it will focus on killing the bacteria and what not.

Both are great. That%26#039;s how it works.

Other things:

Pills (accutane, etc) try o control hormone levels to stop producing oil serum in your pores. This is way pills usually take a long time to work and your acne first gets worse because your skin loses all moisture and flakes, leaving red, bumpy spots.|||Well, i%26#039;m 14 and a girl and its worse for girls because we get critisized... not sure if boys to, Anyway i used clearisil for a week and it dried my skin out leaving it like sand paper, and it did cut back on my spots, but i used vaseline moisturising cream and its back to how it was now, i also tried to use sudocrem but it just did nothing..

everyone teenager gets acne some worse then others so i geuss i will have to cope.

I know this doesn%26#039;t help.. but AVIOD CLEARISIL.|||-The creams clean your pours, making your face less greasy stopping spots growing.

-The wipes dry your skin killing the spots by drying them out, that%26#039;s why you shouldn%26#039;t use them if you have got dry skin.

-The pill is used for when both treatments aren%26#039;t working and you have reasonably serious acne.

Can I note that honestly my answers are not 100% accurate but I think they%26#039;re are right. ;D|||http://www.flawlessimageandhealth.com/la鈥?/a>
